• All Things Billing...

My intention is to make my services affordable for you while also getting paid fairly for my services.

    Insurance

I am in the process of credentialing with the following insurances:*

    • Medicaid and Medicare
    • Blue Cross Blue Shield Plans
    • Prebyterian

*Because I am not yet credentialed, this service is not currently available. Once I am up and running, clients will be able to have their visits paid for by insurance. An additional membership fee will be charged annually. Co-pays will be due at time of service. A credit card will need to be filed to be a member of this practice.

    Appointments

Appointments are 15, 30 and 60 minutes depending on need -which we can determine in conversation. Initial 15 minute consultations are free to determine if we are a good fit to work together.

    Self-Pay/Sliding Scale

For those who are not insured or have a plan I do not accept, I accept cash and credit with the following honesty and time-based sliding scale:

    Do you
Own your home or have a mortgage, live in a two-income household, have investments, retirement accounts, or inherited money, travel recreationally or work part-time by choice? $250/h

    Do you

Work an equivalent of full-time and/or are paid a median salary, rent your home and still have extra available for ordinary recreational activities such as dinners out, concerts, or other paid events? $185/h

    Do you

Live on a fixed-income or government support (with proof) with limited additional financial resources where paying more would be a true hardship? $100/h

All sliding scale clients are required to pay the annual membership fee.

    Annual Membership

I have worked in community health clinics that accept insurances for my whole career. In opening this practice, I struggled with the issue of whether to take insurance because the reimbursements are often unfairly low. However, I decided that accessibilty to our entire community was my highest priority.

As a way to offset the taxes and uncovered costs of doing business, I have implemented an annual fee of $200 for all clients. In most cases, this will be collected at the first visit.

    What you get...

Normally, the type of care I provide is not covered by insurance.

    • Lengthy Appointments
    • Integration of Functional, Herbal and Nutritional Support to your care plan.
    • A very experienced, caring provider who you can get in to see in a timely manner.
    • Not a lot of red tape or barriers of communication.
